The statistical test that is appropriate for the study is the analysis of variance test. The analysis of variance is a statistical test which verifies several samples from the same population. This test applies when measuring one or more categorical variables that have influence on the distribution of a continuous variable. Analysis of variance in relation to the related problem and data allows studying the behavior of a continuous variable to explain the basis of one or more categorical variables. Analysis of variance refers to a large group of analytical data and structure be tested according to the statistical methods which allow the wide range of applications. The variance of target variables that is VO2max is determined by the influence of one or more predictor variables that include stature, mass, age and peak power.
Results
The results section of the study comprises on three parts as the results are based on acetaminophen, aspirin and placebo. In the given below, the table represents the results pertaining to acetaminophen;

From the above table, it can be observed that the analysis of variance table is showing the between the subjects ANOVA, in which the significance value of with reference to VO2max, stature for acetaminophen, mass for acetaminophen, age for acetaminophen and peak power for acetaminophen will help in determining if the condition means are comparatively the same or if the condition means are significantly different with each other. Put differently, the significance value will also help in determining if acetaminophen had an effect on stature for VO2max.
In the above given case, the significance value of stature in relation to VO2max, for acetaminophen, mass for acetaminophen, age for acetaminophen and peak power for acetaminophen are 0.487, 0.598, 0.592 and 0.342 respectively which shows that the significance value is greater than 0.05. For that reason, it can be said that there is no statistically significant difference between the conditions. Moreover, it can also be said that the dissimilarity between means condition are probable due to chance and not likely due to the manipulation.
