Introduction (grabber)

The speech starts with the question regarding existence of God and how many people believe in that. A question would be thrown at the audience the grab their attention and a few real life situations would be discussed to make them realize that they can see eye to eye with the speaker (Jurafsky and Martin, 2008).

Thematic statement

The thematic statement of the speech is: 'God exists, and this existence is proved at various instances in one's life, sometimes through miracles and sometimes through answers of the prayer'.

Body

The main body of the speech deals with my previous views regarding religion and the existence of God, and it also details the incident that made me change my point of view and I became a believe from being an atheist.

Point one

First point would be about incidences that change one's life and place great impact.

Point two

The second point is about my past life and how I used to negate the existence of God.

Point three

The third point actually highlights the incident and also details why it caused the major change in my life.

Conclusion

The conclusion provides overview of the incident and the impact it placed on my life, in addition it also brings the discussion back to the starting point and mentions the fact that certain incidences are not only unforgettable but also place great impact on one's life.

Do you believe in existence of God? Have you ever experienced any incident that changed your concepts about the existence of God?

In my opinion, religion and faith are personal matter and no one should be allowed the dictate the other person regarding that, at times we encounter situations that increase our faith and make us believe that God does exist.
