Solomon Temple was a center of religious life of Jewish people, and it was build between 966-959 BC. The temple is also an object of pilgrimage for Jews three times a year, on Pesach (Passover), Shavuot (Pentecost) and Sukkot (Tabernacles). King Solomon built this temple, who supposedly constructed it in seven years at the place indicated previously by King David, on the hill of Moriah (sacred rock) in north-eastern part of Jerusalem, where Abraham attempted to sacrifice at the request of God, Yahweh his son Isaac. Most of the archeological and artistic evidences are based on the research that is done of the temples made in the same era.
