The definition of social issues lies in the environmental status of the world. Social issues are usually referred to the problems of deviances in the personal lives and interactions with the world. These issues are different from economical issues. These issues are usually related to particular society and impact particular class, group, people and area.
The most common social issues that the world is facing are poverty, hunger and shelter. These primary issues form the secondary level of issues that cause the disturbance in society. The organization that deals with the relations of these societies should take in considerations these issues in order to cope up with the secondary issues like (corruption, crime, violence, unemployment, debt, prostitution or illegal immigrations).
It is common fact that the people, who are deprived of basic necessities, indulge in secondary type of social issues. The person, who hasn't eaten for 4 days, will indulge in criminal activity of stealing and abusing to eat anything. Besides this the other social issue arises due to this in terms of prostitution, violence and illegal attainment of substances and involvement in crime.
This research will focus on the social issues regarding the wage disparity in America, which has led to the social issues of ethnic, racial and social disparities and discriminations.

America is one the most prosperous and proves a significant progress towards the every field of economy and social benefits of society. The racial, ethnic and gender disparities across a number of places are very deliberate. The wage gap has been noticed not across the racial, ethnic and gender equality only, but also between the countries or skilled, unskilled workers too (Maria, 2010).
Gender-Wage Disparity
According to a research women earn 44% less than a man during the term period from1983-2000 (USGC, 2008). Currently it is being noticed that gap is decreasing marginally up to 21%. The radical differentiation is due to opting factor for working patterns, industries and occupations in genders.
The so called “man job” and women job” still exist in the society and usually those jobs, which are done by men are paid more than those paid to women. Rose Hartman explained three tiers scheme in his book “Still a Man's Labor Market”. The first tier elite women are usually teachers or doctors whereas man concentrates on being scientists, doctors, lawyers and business executives. The second tier jobs for women are secretarial while men are blue collar workers. The lowest tier concentrates on women as sales persons and men as factory job workers. Within all these tiers, 75% of any occupations consist of only one gender and women job are paid less than male (Hartmann, 2004).
Women are being stereo typed in labor affected market as being less career driven than men because they have a home as their priority.
