Sociological theories are the theories and studies of the psychologists and scholars who deeply study and analyze the society and its operations and workings. The society is the complex model o f the earth that has several different aspects. It needs a lot of intellectual analysis to understand them. Therefore, the following research has been conducted to consider the sociological theories, their types and classifications, the relationship between different theories and the religion, the impact on the individual and the society as a whole.

Sociological Theories
Sociologists develop theories to explain social phenomena. A theory is a proposed relationship between two or more concepts. In other words, a theory is explanation for why a phenomenon occurs. An example of a sociological theory is the work of Robert Putnam on the decline of civic engagement. Putnam found that Americans involvement in civic life (e.g., community organizations, clubs, voting, religious participation, etc.) has declined over the last 40 to 60 years. While there are a number of factors that contribute to this decline (Putnam's theory is quite complex). Though there are three classifications of the sociological theories; the functionalism, the conflict and the Interactionalism. The following research paper will analyze the following to the given social institution of religion.
Types of Sociological Theories
Existing theories in sociology can be classified as follows: explaining the theory, predicting, and classifying, functional theory. Explanatory theories are studying social phenomena and processes from the perspective of finding the causes. For example, there are many theories to explain social inequality. Predictive theories attempt to describe future events. They do so on the basis of existing data. They analyzed and revealed a general trend. These theories are not always correct, because the analysis may be inaccurate, or unforeseen events occur.
Classifying theories describe the phenomenon. As a result of such a theory can be a theory of "ideal types" of Mars Weber. The actions of each person have their consequences, and therefore it is important to highlight the general ideal types of social action. Weber identified four such types of behavior. A. Goal-oriented rational behavior. At the same person uses the behavior of other people in their own interest. Two: Value-rational behavior. These human actions are based on the moral norms and values.
