A person who is healthy is in the state of complete accuracy of physical, mental and emotional health. This thing identifies the importance of being healthy. Healthy mind with healthy body depends a lot on healthy environment. Medicine is something that treats the disease or prevents it. The sociology of health and illness in this time of speed and problems identifies the interaction between the health and the environment. The objective of this assignment is to see how sociology can affect health and how can it prevents and treats the disease. The social aspect of life influences an individual's health at it most. Thus sociology helps in preventing the diseases or to treat the diseases. Being healthy or not being healthy was once attributed to only biological factors or natural conditions. But sociologist has explained this that the disease can be heavily interlinked by the socioeconomic conditions an individual is having. This sociological aspect can be seen as economic status of the individual or norms and beliefs of the individual and cultural factors that influences the individual. The difference in health patterns in different societies occurs and the social impact on every disease is different as well. Some diseases can be cured only by some behaviors and activities which are healthy for the social life of individual and some diseases needs medicine plus healthy social environment. But the factor of healthy social life for every disease is important at its most.

There are many theories which give the idea of sociological influence on the development and understanding of many diseases. The disease like autism and anxiety are being greatly influenced by the studies of sociology. It brings a great understanding of reasons behind the issues which people suffer within the society and the diseases incurs on them. Anxiety disorder is also the illness which is being developed by the sociological perspective. The issues which are faced by some women and men seemed abnormal to some of the human beings which are not linked with the understanding of the diseases. But sociology describes all the issues which are related to the illness, that are not easily understandable. Sociology has played a significant role in elucidating how economic, professional, and ideological interests influenced the way health care is organized and provided, and how major reforms have been thwarted over the years.
