Over the last few years, the global economic and political environment has undergone diverse changes. Globalisation and competition are two main forces which have changed the global business environment. In today's global era, economics is considered an important measure of success. Business is an economic activity. It is done on a regular basis to earn profit. However, business people also spend their money on different actions which are a part of their business. For instance, they work for the greenery of the environment. Business people also spend their resources on parks and street squares. On the other side, some business people spend their resources on educating children and developing gardens and parks. Some business people are also engaged in improving public transportation system and other services for the well-being of the society.

Social accounting businesses are those that are socially accountable. Social accounting is the process that involves various social actions that are beneficial for a particular interest group. Business Profile
The foundation of this company was also laid by an old man who possessed a lot of wealth. The idea of starting a company that serves the elderly members of the community was also presented by the founder. When the founder passed away, his wealth was utilised by his friends to start the business of garden centre.
We have been operating a social organisation since five years. The social accounting organisation has been divided into two units. One business units provides gardening services to the public. The other business unit is a garden centre. The garden centre offers plants and other products related to garden. The essence of our business is accounting for our actions. The particular groups of society that are getting benefits from this organisation include the elderly.
Our garden centres are run by the elderly people. Within this sector of business, we sell plants. The garden centres of our business are accompanied with a cafe and a book shop. Currently, we have sixteen major stores. We are also planning to open two new stores in the future. The garden centres would be run by the elderly. The purpose of this approach is to provide the elderly with financial help. The elderly people do not get adequate amount through pension. Therefore, the garden centre would allow them to increase their income.
