Introduction

Osteoporosis is a disease that decreases the amount of mineral in bone, losing the strength of trabecular and cortical area reduced by a defect in the absorption of calcium, making them brittle and susceptible to fractures and micro-fractures, and can lead to the development of anemia or blindness.
