Sitting Bull, who was leader of the Hunkpapa Sioux decided to gather Native Americans from all over to try to defend their land. On June 25, 1876 Seventh Cavalry Regiment U.S. Army led by Colonel George Custer's approach to the Little Big Horn. Custer thought it would only be a few Indians, and was surprised to see that many Indians. Su-warriors killed Custer and his men. It is celebrated as a great victory for the Indians of the West.
