Significance of a Name

Christ gives to His Bride a new revelation of Himself and His "new Name" which the elect alone are capable of receiving (Revelation 2:17; 3:12). It was revealed to us in the Seven Thunders. Christians are baptized into the Name or the revealed nature of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, "having received like precious faith [with our apostolic fathers when we were born-again] . . . whereby we are granted great and precious promises by means of which we might escape the corruption that is in the world through lust and become partakers of the Divine nature" (II Peter 1:4).

The meaning of the name has a great influence on its owner, as well as others. From the sound of letters and words they are mystical can understand much about the nature and destiny of man. An intelligent person usually gets the idea from the sound of the letters that make up a name, whether beautiful or ugly, soft or hard, consonant or dissonant, but does not know what makes it so: one knows, who understands why this is so.

Letters, either individually or jointly, either expressed continuously or with difficulty, and therefore their impact on themselves and on the other. Names that are smooth and soft, mellow sound effects on the speaker and listener, while the hard-sounding names of the opposite effect. The man, of course, requires a smooth, soft things and hard things are the names of hard-sounding names, such as a flower or a stone, wool, and flint, etc.
