Introduction

The purpose of this study is to expand the boundaries of our knowledge by exploring some relevant facts and figures relating to “Shutter Island”. In this paper, we will conduct a critique the mental condition of Teddy, the main character in the movie. Furthermore, our argument will be in favor of the fact that Teddy was a perfectly sane human being that was driven crazy while spending time at Shutter Island.
