Research Question

Did the trading crusade for Shrek assist to its success?

 

Rationale of the Project

This task will be cooperative in alignment to discover the distinct facets of trading crusades and the modes to make these crusades become successful.  Part of the achievement of any video is how well that video is sold and how early the trading starts in alignment to construct anticipation. If video trading was a degree on a report business card then DreamWorks would effortlessly obtain an A+ for Shrek. If it was ranked on a scale of 1 to 10, DreamWorks would obtain a 12. With Shrek, DreamWorks is conveying back the art of trading an animated movie. Here are a couple of prime examples:

1) DreamWorks is attracting online journalists. In March, DreamWorks started asking for online reporters, and Webmasters of follower sites, to personal screenings of Shrek where nothing less than 12 Internet reporters would outlook Shrek then have a candid consideration with Jeffrey Katzenberg next the viewing. This beat on a drum up support for Internet reporters to cover Shrek with items popping up left and right. Unfortunately, DreamWorks someway missed us (Digital Media FX) in the method even though Digital Media FX is one of the biggest award-winning online publications for animation enthusiasts (Pham 2003 34).

"During Mid-March, I took air journey down to L.A. to the DreamWorks asked for check screening of Shrek which is the best animated characteristic I have ever seen," states Jawad Mir who conceives follower sites for DreamWorks images, encompassing a Shrek site. 2) DreamWorks has been dispatching the press little trinkets that top concern and get a good laugh. For demonstration, early last month, DreamWorks dispatched to choose press hundreds of containers of "Shrek Beauty Mud Mask Cream." The container states, "Fresh from the Swamp of Shrek - Use Nightly for Amazing Results (Buzzell 2008 113)." You open the container and there is some sort of muddy green elite inside.
