The topic of abortion is a hot subject among people today. The argument of abortion has been raging since the Supreme Court case, Roe vs. Wade, in 1973. This court case has divided the country into tow fractions, Pro-Choice and Pro-Life. Some feel that women should be able to have the choice of an abortion no matter if the fetus is in the first or second trimester. What is an abortion? Abortion is defined as pregnancy termination by miscarriage or by choice.
I am Pro-Choice; Pro choice is anyone who feels that women have individual rights to choose abortion as an option. We live in a democracy, where we have the right to choose how we live. It is a women's right to choose to have a child or to abort it. It is not as if women get pregnant for the specific reason to have an abortion. According to Lee-Anne Goodman, “Most American considers themselves a religious and almost all believe in God, it's an issue that doesn't appear to be going way anytime soon.”

So what is a woman to do when they learn they are pregnant? They have a few options: (1) have the child and raised it (2) continue with pregnancy and give child up for adoption (3) to have an abortion. Unfortunately, many choose the third option, unaware of what they are doing. Abortion is cruel to the baby and mother; it is murder, plain and simple.
We live in a right crazed society. Even animals are afforded rights these days, but still the unborn are not protected. In all situations and instances, abortion was and still is an act of violence against the unborn child as well as the women about to have the baby. Life begins at conception; abortion is akin to murder as it is an act of taking the life of another human being without the consequence of punishment. An embryo is considered a human being as early as twenty-one days of conception. It doesn't matter that we can't ...
