The bed and breakfast includes images of comfort, extraordinary personal service, and a unique ambience. The Bed and Breakfast industry is a very important part of the tourism industry, which provides accommodations to domestic and international visitors. The key to a successful bed and breakfast is its location and ability to attract visitors to a particular region. Accommodations differ from hotels and motels, and are viewed as highly personal, usually with close surroundings and individual attention from the owner. The provision of private and comfortable accommodations with a gourmet breakfast is a key differentiator that sets the bed and breakfast industry apart from other forms of accommodations.
In this paper, we discuss about the plan proposed for the establishment of another bed and breakfast company, named as, Shine and Rise. We will be discussing about the company and its operations and which group will it be targeting. The competitors, whether direct or indirect, will also be discussed in this paper. Also, we will analyze the financial projections for the project that will help us to discuss the allocation of funds effectively.

It is important to differentiate between bed and breakfasts and guest-houses, as the terms are often used synonymously. Confusion arises because the term "bed and breakfast" is used in two main ways: to refer to the type of establishment and to refer to a form of boarding rate being offered. Confusion may also arise for cultural reasons: a bed and breakfast in the United States is usually quite different from its British equivalent and therefore the expectation of US visitors to a British bed and breakfast are unlikely to be met; it is, for example, very difficult for most British bed and breakfasts to match the United States equivalent in terms of quality of facilities.
Tourist information shows that the stay in bed & breakfast facilities has gone up over 30 percent in the last few years. As competition increases, owners of existing bed and breakfast establishments need information to help them make appropriate management decisions. People are looking for uniqueness as well as quality for accommodations, and this bed and breakfast will supply that to customers. The hospitality industry requires staff to be surrounded by people nearly all the time. Chatting with visitors and catering to others' needs invigorates staff who enjoy working closely with people. Owning a bed and breakfast establishment sounds like it could be fun and easy, but the initial excitement sometimes overlooks the more serious and complex business of running an inn.
