“Sexual perversity in Chicago is a work of art”

Introduction

The play “Sexual Perversity in Chicago” is written David Mamet in 1970's. The writer observes the sex lives of two women and men. This play is enriched with locally used terminologies and with profanity, which actually exposes the language used in Chicago by working class. The relationship between the characters has been caught by the sarcastic temperament of their works, as most of the dialogues comprised of arguments and insults. It basically represents the warm and close relationship of obscured fears and misapprehensions.

Monroe Beardsley was born in Bridgeport Connecticut in 1915; he got his education from the University of Yale. Beardsley is most famous for his contribution in aesthetics, but he has done a variety of work on different topics and subjects, such as historical philosophy, history of modern philosophy and action theory. His inquisitive nature has been reflected from his variety of work. “He is one of the most significant bodies of 20th century critical aesthetics and was called as an aesthetician” (Mathison, 2004). His critical analysis in almost every field's investigation has delivered an aesthetic information and knowledge to him an as well as for subsequent cohort. Leo Tolstoy was born in 1828; he was a Russian author, philosopher and an activist. He is remembered till today is because of his huge contribution through his work on War and Peace, which was published in 1860's. He spent a totally different life as compare to other Russian writers of that time. His work is believed to be the immortal literature work of Russia, and his contribution towards philosophy has influenced enormous people. Where at one side he is remembered because of his outstanding work on fiction and which has contributed something very expensive in the Russian literature, on other hand he also added through his work in Christian philosophy.
