Early in my career as a writer in an organization, I had to fulfil certain daily targets on daily basis to maximize my performance and achieve recommendations from my seniors. My daily target comprised of writing fifteen pages with quality, compliance and structural flow. At start, it seemed tough. But as time passed, I manage to improve my speed as well as going along with quality data production. My seniors, colleagues all helped, guided and coached me step by step. All the staff was very encouraging, motivating and aspiring (Aamodt, 1993,, 81).
I used to be very much tensed. I lacked confidence. I began to lose my self confidence and my motivational level. If it hadn't been for my coordinator, I wouldn't have been able to grow and progress. She supported me through my thick and thin. She motivated, encouraged and guided me throughout my career. She polished and improved the writing and presentation skills in me and managed to make me learn how to maintain these skills within one self (Aamodt, 1993,, 81).
After three months of my probation period, I was finalized as a permanent employee. Then my three months' performance was thoroughly critically evaluated and on my continuous growth in performance I was made a team coordinator. A team coordinator is one who is assigned a team and one has to maintain and improve one's growth along with leading team members to the path of growth and development.
It was tougher for me at start. Because first, I as a team member used to look upon my team coordinator at the time of any help or query. But now five people, new joiners, were looking upon me. I was obliged and authorized to lead them, guide, and support them and to polish their skills so that it would help them in the long run.
I did my best as much as I could do. I taught them the writing and searching skills, guided them if they had any problems anywhere with the data or topic of the report. Impressed and always motivated by my coordinator, I made her my idol and thought of her whenever any problem occurred and everything seem so difficult and impossible (Asher, 1974,, 519).
But I faced some problems as well. During when I was anew joiner, I faced problems in meeting new targets. As I was in a job, I was not in the position to argue or speak ill about the management, because I lacked experience. I had to do what I was told to do. Later, when I gained speed and was manage to maintain my performance too, I felt loads better. I felt that it was just a matter of time when one grasps things and the flow of work (Asher, 1974,, 519).
Then, when I was made a team coordinator, I faced problems, again. I felt angry at many times when my team members asked me stupid questions, when they weren't able to understand little things, when ...
