Introduction

The Security Screening Program is a major operational responsibility of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). It aims to prevent non-Americans who pose a security risk to enter America or to obtain permanent resident status on the one hand, and to prevent anyone raising concerns about the security plan access to goods, sites or sensitive information from government, other. On behalf of the Government of America, TSA conducts security assessments for screening for the government and foreign countries as well as screening applications for immigration and citizenship (Wald, 2009).

In the United States more than two million daily passengers of commercial aviation, go through the screening procedures for arsenal and insecure item before boarding onto the aircraft project. TSA also reported that during 2006, the average maximum passenger waiting time is 11.76 minutes, more than 10 minutes to establish performance goals more. And more than 10 minutes of waiting time can be used as the shielding effect of qualitative indicators to explain that such measures, the real meaning should be “no trouble” symbolizes the experience of the checkpoints. In other words, the aviation industry, the U.S. government and various stakeholders together are going to provide the world-class security with world class customer service.

Government Screening

The screening program for the Government allows the Service to provide security assessments to all departments and agencies.
