Breaking down the jobs into smaller components and then redesigning them for the employees. He wants the problems of the internal organization to be addressed by four measures. They are the environment, physicians, the board of the corporation and management. The focus by Spaeth is more on management. Management where there is a division of work through specialization and unity of command and direction. He advocates an approach based on centralization and equity. He wants people who have taken on various challenges in the business sector and are better suited to taking on challenges in healthcare. Also keeping in mind that he wants people to train themselves while also trying to obtain the help of mentors indicate that he prefers employing the scientific school of management in his approach. This is because Ronald G. Spaeth advocates focusing on the relationship between the workers and the hospital. He feels that it is best to appraise people for their efforts. His method focuses on achieving the creation of jobs that would lead to economizing time, human resource as well as other resources. His major strategy includes effectively applying management by respecting and admiring the efforts that the physicians put into. By having said that he prefers spending time with physicians and applauding them for their work and providing them with assistance, Ronald G. Spaeth goes out to employ the strategies included in the scientific management theory.
