Introduction

Leader is the great element of change to help build society according to the instructions of God. It is essential to equalize the actions of people to same level of action for same level of reward. Role of leader is highly crucial in the determination of change accessibility by the people of society. Pedagogy of verbal knowledge sent by God is essential to fit to the circumstances of time and society need. This requires accepting the circumstances as fatally given, which would give the possibilities of human freedom, but affirm this freedom from the perspective of the social construction of reality (Lozado & Thatcher, 2006). This help in effective transferring of God's message to the people and help in improving their standard of life, by addressing the potential factors that may lead to social destruction.

Leadership is a synonymous vocation and exemplary service to all people of the society. Acceptability of change is based on the leader's capability to convey the prospects of change to his disciples (Manz, 1998). The debate of rationalists can be extended to the role of Jesus as agent of change under the verses of Gospel of John. Theists have tended to focus their attention on issues of self-sufficiency Jesus had in influencing the people and the need to create a change in society through disciples teaching (Nouwen, 2009). This paper aims at exploring the Jesus' leadership in bringing change to his disciples. Jesus used a particular way of bringing this direction to his followers. Traits of Charismatic leadership and Transformation leadership were exhibited by the Jesus in different context for influencing the disciples to effectively deal with change principle (Lozado & Thatcher, 2006).

Inner Texture Analysis

Discrete religious acts generally performed in words and gestures, devotional practices demonstrate, build, and nurture the devotee's relationship with God or a holy person. Devotional practices articulated implicit but rich theologies that are religiously in character. Gospel of John defines the logic and function of devotional practices derived from contemporary understandings of God and the process of salvation. The spiritual world in which God and human beings interacted generally refers to the conveying of message through leaders to the disciples (Pelikan, 2005). To set the tone and context of the study for assessing the role of Jesus as agent of change, inner texture analysis of the Gospel of John helps in categorizing the approach towards role of Jesus and relation with disciples. The inner texture of the document resides in features in the language of the text itself; include repetition of words and use of dialogue between two persons to communicate the information (Lozado & Thatcher, 2006).
