Resource scheduling is one of the most important processes to do when doing a business or managing any project. Resource scheduling is also known as a "Shared Resource Schedule". It is a timetable of resources and events. Events are planned in accordance with the availability of the shared resources. This planned schedule tells the managers that what resources will be available at what time in the future (Kolisch, 1995). This will allow the mangers to plan their activities and load in a given utility or a given area. Resource planning is a way of determining that what activities should be performed at what time and on what dates. This helps in smoothing the demand of resources and also helps in avoiding exceeding the limits that have been set already. A resource schedule is mostly designed by the manager.
