Question 1: what did you learn from the meetings with your project mentor, including the presentation that you gave to your project mentor?
Answer: I found my learning to be different in every phase of meeting, so I am going to divide them accordingly.
1st Meeting
Our first meeting was for the selection of topic as in what exactly I wanted to do. It highlighted my aims and objectives which I wanted to reflect in my work, in the shape of research project. In the first meeting, I discussed with my mentor for the topic and organization that I have chosen. The job is a little research on a topic that the student must develop from his point of view, taking into account all sources of information are necessary. It is typically performed on one of the issues raised by the various departments of the level. Do not make overlaying information from different places, but synthesizing and building topics depending on the approach that each will give.
He said it to me that the subject you choose must be related to your educational level and according to your interests or hobbies. I was asked to consider the sources of information I will need. Before deciding on a topic, I had to weigh whether i will be able to find information on it. I also keep in mind the complexity of the issue and preparation. There are issues where I might be better prepared than others. My mentor advised me that I should choose a topic that does not know absolutely everything that appeals to me. I had to try to fit in as far as possible, what I will do better. After deciding I showed him my plan, to do the report, and he gave me valuable suggestions.
2nd Meeting
My mentor suggested me that my work should be limited to one question: Who, What, When, How or Why. A work that answers many questions of the above simultaneously may be too vague, broad and lacking in depth. It must be limited in order study one or a few aspects. In my draft, he told me to carry out my work plan as the following:
Planning scheme of work: Quick initial search information you need to place the issue at length and preparation of the provisional index. In cases where it is necessary to scheduling of visits and interviews that have to do.
Selecting the information: Exhaustive search of information on the topic.
Reading and organizing information: Study the information obtained and logical organization of the same.
Synthesis and first draft: Selection and structuring of information useful interpretation of it. Suitability of this information to your work must be written down.
Final draft
Delivery
Through emails, I sent the introduction which outlined the objectives of work, academic or personal historical circumstances that have led and methodology. I had also provided details on the investigation, the results or conclusions because it is not another chapter in the report. In our second meeting, we discussed the final ...
