I am submitting my draft report entitled “Reduction of infection in ultrasound probes”. I am confident that my work will meet the high standards of your review and course.
The report will give its reader an idea of the Ultrasound. It will cover the positive impact of the ultrasound as well as the side effects of ultrasound probes. These are effects, which are caused by the Ultrasound Probes and other instruments below standard cleaning. Therefore, this report will highlight ways to keep these infections away from the patients and find the cost effective way of cleaning these devices.
I would thank and acknowledge the help of my course teacher and all of those who assisted me in achieving this report.
Sincerely,

Abstract
The report will give its reader an idea of the Ultrasound. The Ultrasound test helps the doctor in diagnosing of various types and range of diseases. The ultrasound also helps the doctors to find the level of the disease. Various diseases in the form of pancreases problem, stomach problems, gallbladder and abdominal pain are diagnosed with the help of this state of the art technology. Thus, these are the positive impact of the ultrasound but it has its side effects. These are effects, which are caused by the Ultrasound Probes and other instruments. Therefore, this report will highlight ways to keep these infections away from the patients and find the cost effective way of cleaning these devices.
Reduction of Infection on Ultrasound Probe
Introduction
Subject
The Ultrasound test helps the doctor in diagnosing a various types and range of diseases. The ultrasound also helps the doctors to find the level of the disease. Various diseases in the form of pancreases problem, stomach problems, gallbladder and abdominal pain are diagnosed with the help of this state of the art technology (Benson 2007). The test is carried out in a way that, high frequency sound waves that the human ear cannot hear is transferred through the body tissues; this is done with the help of instrument called transducer (Ohara & Itoh 1988). This helps the doctor to see the information on the computer and ultimately the goal is achieved.
Purpose
The main purpose of the report is to find ways to reduce the infection, during the probing period. The probing period is when the Ultrasound is actually taking place. The report gives emphasis on the use of latest technology and precautions when using the instruments on the body. It has been noticed that the use high frequency sound has a very bad impact on the patients' ear. It can cause permanent damage to the ear and can cause other various diseases (Nyborg & Ziskin 1985). The other thing is gel, which has recently been introduced, is also causing concerns in the mind of many people, since it has been noticed that when Gel is applied on the body of the person ...
