Introduction

Recruitment and selection is a process of screening out the right candidate for the job description. On the other hand, selection is the process of selecting the right candidate for the job description. Revels (2003) presents a fairly comprehensive definition of recruitment, the process of recruitment, is a set of techniques and procedures aimed at attracting qualified candidates potentially able to occupy positions within the organization. It is a system whereby the organization provides market reports and Human Resource (HR), the opportunity for employment is to be filled. Recent studies have indicated that if organizations have high levels of involvement, this will develop into a positive attitude among employees therefore, employees will have a higher degree of engagement and productivity in the workplace (Evans, 2002, p. 150). Today, organizations typically utilize a more strategic approach, encompassing dynamic workplace models to uncover processes of individual workplace situations including personal aspirations, stabilization, differentiation, multiculturalism, perceived social worth, personal motivation, expectations, and intrinsic and extrinsic needs (Euro monitor, 2010, p. 11). Current organizational trends appear to be based on existing theories and concepts that drive organizational structures.

The company works to provide the mobile voice and multimedia services around the globe. Being the largest mobile telecommunication company around the globe, China mobile limited has won the global pride of place. The company has its listings on Hong Kong and New York Stock Exchanges. By January 2012, China mobile limited with its 655 subscribers have become the world's largest mobile phone operator. China Mobile Limited works to provide a range of mobile telecommunication services round almost 32 provinces and multiple regions.

Human resource management theories have focused on the techniques of recruiting and selecting talent, and identifies the important of psychometric tests, interviews and general assessment as a process of selection of members of head of recruitment department (Allen, 2004, 13). The process of recruitment can be external or internal or it could be performed online and may includes the other methods of recruitment like job description posting, advertising, a process of job application, interviewing, decision-making, assessment, training legislation and selection. Current organizations must utilize strategic approaches to create job satisfaction that results in employee retention. The two key variables that may be directly associated with organizational commitment have been motivation and job satisfaction. Allen (2004) proposed that these two variables may have had major influences in working environments; it was found that employees have been inclined to achieve more when managers have been able to understand their concerns. Herzberg et al.'s research (1959) on job satisfaction and motivation concluded that there are two sets of factors that affect job satisfaction and the importance of attitudes towards work and the work environment.
