Introduction

The slogan of the United States of America, "E Pluribus Unum” which means “Out of One, many”, clearly shows that United Sates is a single nation is made up of many immigrants. These immigrants arrived to the country from different parts of the world. From Europe and Asia, they came with their will but Native Americans and Africans were brought forcibly. American policies went through many changes; historically it developed policies that discriminated against the races living in the country.
