In today's business world, the significance of management organizing is the most valuable tool for the success of many organizations. Many organizations place a tremendous emphasis on quality performance improvement efforts, utilization of information technology, and management challenges. Healthcare management started the process by focusing on the utilization of a performance improvement plan by identifying problems and correcting those problems. Hospitals use various methods to identify the critical areas for improvement, such as clinical operational information, financial information, and survey information after patient discharge. Overall, the performance improvement process can help hospitals determine if their cost reduction goals can be attainable. It also allows hospitals to set realistic goals by organizing and analyzing data information in order to determine what departments need improvement. The performance improvement process shows improvement opportunities by implementing change through organizing a team that understands the process, identifying tasks, establishing structure, allocating resources, and developing guidelines for management of patients (Kavanagh, 1997).
