Quality Of Life for Hemodialysis Patient

Abstract

The Present study was conducted in the Hemodialysis Unit of a Hospital, where attention is given to patients with the diagnosis of terminal chronic renal failure. In this research we try to discover the insight of “Quality Of Life in a Hemodialysis Patient” in a holistic perspective. The key heart of the study is on “Hemodialysis Patient” and its relation with “Quality Of Life”. The research also examines various characteristics of “Hemodialysis Patient”” and tries to measure its effect. Lastly the research illustrates a variety of factors which are responsible for “Hemodialysis Patient” and tries to describe the overall effect of it.

Quality Of Life for Hemodialysis Patient

Introduction

Chronic Renal Failure is a solemn medical issue around the entire world. The incidences of this failure are constantly increasing on the daily basis. The major causes of the failure are hypertension, diabetes mellitus, polycystic kidney diseases, chronic glumerulo nephritus, nephrotoxins drugs and obstructive uropathy. Several lines of evidence have shown that microbiological purity of previous term haemodialysis next term water and dialysis fluid is crucial for the prevention of the silent chronic inflammation associated with previous term haemodialysis next term, for the reduction of secondary amyloidosis arising from previous term haemodialysis next term, suppression of pyrogenic reactions, and for improved control of anemia following chronic renal insufficiency. These problems are due mainly to the presence of bacteria, endotoxins and bacteria-derived products. Water used during dialysis sessions may be responsible for the transmission of an increasing number of infections, with large and severe outbreaks recently reported. Therefore, previous term haemodialysis next term units require high quality water, with much more rigorous standards than for other uses. Methods for purification of water used in previous term haemodialysis next term is comprised a variety of strategies to eliminate bacteria and chemical contaminants: active carbon filters, regular disinfection, sub-micron filters reverse osmosis, etc. At the same time as water was used in preceding term haemodialysis next term was not sterile, the levels of bacteria-derived products and bacteria had to be adequately low.

Discussion

The study described below, is about the psychological factors that most affect Quality Of Life in patients with medical diagnosis of chronic renal failure that are undergoing hemodialysis in a Hospital. This analysis of various aspects that characterize the life of these patients such as: emotional state, the operation cognitive functions such as sleep, rest, and social relations, these issues corroborate and allow us to appreciate the high level of psychological distress that has these patients. The following study data have been obtained in the framework of a psychological evaluation comprehensive Quality Of Life of patients with chronic renal failure in the hemodialysis service. Was administered to each patient the Spanish version of related Quality Of Life: "Sickness Impact Profile" and used the criteria Diagnostics Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders DSM - IV depression and the diagnostic criteria of "Hamilton Anxiety Scale.”

Justification

The rehabilitation of patients on dialysis, in the sense of restoring a Quality Of Life optimal, it ...
