Factors that Influence the Publication Productivity Rates of African American Female Social Work Faculty

Abstract

The study will address the influence of Publication Productivity Rates of African American Female on the academic status of social work faculty of color by comparing the academic status of 12 African-American women in social work faculty. It shall be expected that the greater percentage of women held lower academic ranks, were not tenure, and not been members of editorial boards of professional journals. The implications of this pattern of inequality will discuss.
