Its aim is to promote intellectual, physical, emotional, spiritual and social development of young people. Australia offers youngsters between the age of 6-25 to grow up through exciting activities, with fun and challenging opportunities. Scout Australia's activities includes leadership development, environmental projects, performing arts, community services, recreational radio function, major Australian events and service projects in developing countries (Scout Australia, 2012)
