Forensic Psychology is a legal psychology dealing with the legal justice within the judicial level. It gets regarded as the division of applied psychology at the collection, analysis and presentation of psychological evidence for judicial purposes. It includes the psychological assessment and analysis of law in the jurisdiction, for understanding their substantive and procedural logics. The professional of this field use the psychotherapy process (usually with prisoners) to student the relationship and conduction of crime with the patient (Duntley, 2006).
A study revealed that only 24% of the cases of child abuse got reported as emotional abuse, while the rest, (as identified by the medico-legal system) got reported either physical or sexual abuse. It is very difficult to identify the abuse of the children and the consequences by them. Child witnesses typically go through the abuses before delivering any predictions and these abuses results in the formulation of either negative or positive results in the life of people.
