For the purpose of this assignment, I have conducted an unstructured interview from 60 years old person professor of economics Mr. John. He has just retired from his job and now is planning to a book on his field of interest macroeconomics. This interview was conducted on the telephone, and the length of the interview was an hour approximately.
Interview synopsis
Interviewer: Hello, this is Danny, Sir would you mind if I ask few question about your life before and after retirement?
Mr. John: Hi, Sure, I would be glad if I can help you any way.
Interviewer: Sir, I am a student psychology, and I am interested to ask about your distinctive social roles. Sir can you tell me how many family members do you have?
Mr. John: we are seven family members, me, my wife two daughters, a son, daughter in law and a grandson.
Interviewer: OK, That means you are playing roles of a husband, a father and a grandfather. Can you tell us how many people are currently working in your family?
Mr. John: My son is working as assistant manager in Barclay's bank, and his wife is a doctor. My daughters are studying, and they do not work anywhere on a regular basis. My wife left working 5 years back due some medical problems.
Interviewer: Sir when you were on the job what responsibilities you had as a husband, father, father in law and grandfather. And what responsibilities do you have after retirement? Have you felt any changes?
