Introduction

Psychology is the study of how human beings and animals' sense, believe, discover and know. Psychology is a research founded on observations and theories. Modern psychology is the assembling of details and rotating them into psychological theories to interpret people's demeanor and occasionally to forecast and leverage their future behavior. The control and esteem of psychology has been glimpsed tremendous change and development since its early beginnings (Arlington, 2000). Psychology has since its inception proceeded to change and develop, and new perspectives and concepts have been introduced. Recent psychological study focuses on numerous facets of the human behavior and know-how, right from the influence of heritage and communal components to biological leverages on human behavior.

Today, most of the psychologists do not recognize themselves with a lone school of thought. Instead, they favor focusing on certain specialty perspectives or localities, often drawing deductions from a broad variety of theoretical backgrounds. This up to designated day set about has assisted new ideas and concepts that still extend to form the future of psychology. Psychologists share goals and methods, as well as scientists, try to describe, explain, predict and control what they study. Psychologists analyze a case such as the difference in aggression between men and women (Arlington, 2000). Once established sex differences in aggression and once described the psychologist begins to explain. The field of psychology has introduced various method of studying human behaviors. Study methods range from naturalistic observations to experimental methods etc.

In this paper criminal behavior will be discussed, and also the the different theories will be analyzes in order to under the criminal behavior. Motivation, cognitive, and behaviorism theories of psychology will be discussed in this paper to properly understand the behavior and criminal nature of the individuals.

Theory of Motivation

Behavior can never be fully explained by the motivation. Motivation is a very powerful force, which makes the tasks and goals of an individual easy to achieve. These tasks and goals can range from personal life goals to goals of learning in a class room and achieving success. The reason behind a person's failure is the lack of motivation for a task (Wozniak, 1999). An individual starts blaming others for the failure he had to face due to his own mistakes and lack of motivation to work hard. In order to achieve heights of success, one has to be physically, mentally and emotionally skilled to make things happen.

Motivation is very important when you are trying to achieve any goals of life. When an individual is motivated towards achieving a goal of life, his performance improves significantly. It is due to self motivation it is said to set personal goals in your life, so you are motivated towards the target and work harder towards that goal. It can help turn things around if one is feeling down and weak Motivation is a psychological process that causes the trigger, orientation and retention behavior.
