Case Brief

The main purpose of this paper is to make a case analysis of Michael. Michael is suffering from some mental disease that leads to the behavioral and learning disabilities. Michael had been brought up by his grandmother, who was an alcohol addict, then later on he was brought up by his mother and her boy friend and they all were alcohol addict and use to physically harass Michael (Bowen 1971). Due to all these circumstances, Michael used to act in a bad manner and used to scold, slap and spit on any one no matter what relation.

Contingency Theory

There are numerous types of contingency theory. In a general sense, contingency ideas are a class of behavioral idea that argue that there is no one best way of coordinating / premier and that an organizational / authority method that is productive in some positions may not be thriving in other ones (Fiedler, 1964). In other words: The optimal association / authority method is contingent upon diverse interior and external constraints.

Four significant concepts of Contingency Theory are:

1. There is no universal or one best way to manage

2. The conceive of an association and its subsystems should 'fit' with the environment

3. Effective associations not only have a correct 'fit' with the natural environment but furthermore between its subsystems

4. The desires of an association are better persuaded when it is correctly conceived and the administration method is befitting both to the jobs attempted and the environment of the work group.

 

Conflict Theory
