Similarities:

Both are related on the premise of the deterministic approach i.e. previous behaviors are responsible for behavior change.

Similarities:

Both are related to the study of human behavior. Behavioral learning of human being.

Similarities:

Both theories influence behavior.

Both use scientific methodologies in order to explain various approaches.

Similarities:

Both explains human behavior

Botha re related to the response base stimulus perception.

Differences:

Different source of material i.e. behavioral learning is not based upon hypothesis in comparison to psychodynamic learning.

Differences:

Humanism is more concerned with the cognitive exposure while behavior learning is based on the tangible behaviors that are observable.

Differences:

Biological theory is related to the action of genes, and hormones that are generated by behavior. It tends to use experiments.

Differences:

Cognitive plays significant role in processing memory while behavior theory strictly observes the responses as an active participant.

Psychodynamic

Humanistic

Behaviorist

Cognitive

Biological

Similarities:

Both approached uses same methodologies and experiments for analyzing behavioral changes.

Similarities:

Both approaches include other external factors such as culture and environment in their concern.

Similarities:

Both approaches are similar in terms of experimental knower and its changes.

Similarities:

Both are related to brain and its factions.

Differences:

Behavior is influenced by prior behaviors in psychodynamic as compare to genes in biological approach

Differences:

Differences are related to the control process. Humanistic control is related to the conscious control while in biological approach control is related to the genetic changes.

Differences:

Both have different opinions regarding the understanding of nature. Biological theory discusses the areas that are important biologically i.e. bathe of human being while behavioral theory is related to the development of personality which are based on the moulds of punishments and concern.

Differences:

Biological psychology is different because it is related to the structure of brain and its activities while cognitive theory observes the process of brain.

Behaviorist

Biological

Cognitive

Similarities:

No prominent similarity among the two.

Similarities:

Both theories are valuable in terms of self acceptance and discourages individual from being judgmental.

Similarities:

Both use experimental approaches that are known as pre-cursors to n order to observe the human behavior. Also it removes the problem of individual difference when compared to the independent measure of designs.
