Introduction

The words “customer satisfaction” is oft-repeated and has a significant status in the field of health just as they are contributing on other business ventures. It is vital for the health care people to tackle the fears, doubts, and the worries of the patients who come to them for treatment. The migration factor is very common in the present era in the present age. Similarly, United States is experiencing one of its largest migratory waves, so health providers are caring for many patients who do not speak English. The patients are provided the bilingual nurses who are not provided any sort of medical trainings and they normally act as medical interpreters.

The culture education, in terms of Spanish language, for the health professionals is of specific interest in the current study. It is a field which mirrors the distinct requirements of the health professionals or nurse practitioners. It also pertains to the field where the requirement to close the communication gap amongst the clients and professionals and is mandatory as well as urgent (Gonzalez-Lee, 1992; Gonzalez-Lee, 1998; Jonsson-Devillers, 1992; Kothari and Kothari, 1997; Mason, 1991).

A big numbers of patients belonging to the Spanish-speaking origin or whom "the utilization of health care services is largely affected by cultural beliefs, insurance status, language of communication, and income” (Gonzalez-Lee, 1998, p. 324) are filling hospitals and clinics all across the United States. Even if professional schools and university language programs have begun to respond by addressing issues of cultural beliefs and language of communication for their students, those already in the health care profession who are no longer college students need specific linguistic and cultural knowledge in order to successfully communicate with their clients.

Statement of Problems

Interpersonal communication is essential to the effectiveness of nursing. Nursing is collaborative and therefore depends on the ability of nurses to communicate effectively with others: patients and medical staff members. Interpersonal communication is holding a level of excellence and customer satisfaction, and avoids misunderstandings doctors. Social interactions must be taken into account at all levels of nursing. A nurse should be able to distinguish between appropriate social interactions and inappropriate. There are limits when making a social relationship with a patient (Burgio, 2001, pp.449-460).

A nurse has to be comprehensive, but it should never become too familiar and be socially involved with a patient. Communication should not only serve as a vehicle for information the physician needs in the performance of their duties, should also be used to make the patient feel heard, to fully understand the meaning of their illness and to feel your care partner during the health-disease process.
