Technology based on the biology is known as the biotechnology. Biotechnology ties together the processes of the biomolecular and cellular for the purpose of expanding products and technologies, which helps in improving health of our planet and our lives. People have used the biological processes related to microorganisms for about more than six thousand years for making valuable food products that includes cheese and bread and also for the preservation of the dairy products. Modern biotechnology gives the advanced technologies and products to fight unusual diseases and incapacitating, feed the hungry, diminish environmental footprints, use cleaner and fewer energy, and have cleaner, safer and well-organized manufacturing procedures in the industry (Bio, 2012).

At this time, around more than two hundred fifty biotechnological vaccines and products related to health care are presented to the patients. Many of these vaccines and products are for the treatment of deadly diseases. More than 13.3 million farmers are using biotechnological technologies all over the world to increase outcomes, put off or avoid the harm to the crops from the pests and insects, and also minimize the impacts of the farming on the environment. About more than 5o biorefineries have been built in the North America to refine and test the technologies for producing chemical and biofuels the renewable biomass that can help in reducing emission of the green house gas (Bio, 2012).

New advancement in the modern biotechnology is helping in the preparation and meeting the most prominent challenges of the society (Bio, 2012).

Applications of biotechnology in the field of medical

Biotechnology is helping to restore the health of the world by tying together the toolbox of the nature and it is also using the nature's genetic makeup to the guideline of the research and restoring the health by (Bio, 2012):

Dropping the rates of the infectious or transferable diseases

Reducing the lives of the millions of children

Plummeting the chances of the life threatening and serious conditions that affect the lives of the millions of people all around the world

Minimizing side effects and health risks through the individual treatments

Making more effective and efficient tools for the detection of the diseases

Fighting with the daily threats and severe illness that the world is facing
