Introduction

Processed foods comprised by adding hormone, additive, unnatural genetic materials, preservatives, or other heat treatments and chemical that destroys or alters those healthy natural fatty acids, enzymes, minerals and vitamins in the fresh food. The aim of the processed food manufacturer is to increase the shelf life of the food. The shelf life increased so much that it loses its natural health and benefits in it. They increase the shelf life, so that a larger amount could be sold till a long time. It processed food could be clearly understood by if the food is boxed, canned, bagged, or jarred and it also contains the list of ingredient on the tag, and label on it is processed. As the convenience, portability, and long shelf life, it has become popular people have ignored the harm. Because, its harm is slow and in the long run people have not realized it is injurious. The canning and refrigerating food also include in process food.

“Processed food is not healthy to eat, and it caused several disease in the human body”.

Discussion

Today nearly 80% of the foods we eat are processed. According to INSEE, in just 50 years ago, in a family, the share of processed meat, fish and vegetables have increased to 41% in 2006, to the detriment products requiring more personal preparation.

Currently, almost all rely on some form of processed products such as milk, ham, vegetables, dairy products, seasonings; including milk and food given to babies are processed (Johanson, p.10-15). Now what is the disadvantage of processed products, is that its damage caused in the long term, as companies that sell only interested in selling, regardless of the effects of the same to consumers in the long run, because "unfortunately" these foods are authorized to be sold on the condition that the components do not hurt immediately, any commercial product may have some harmful substance in an amount not hurt immediately. But there are no studies that verify that happens in the long run it is also important to note that not only we get a chemical in the mouth every day.

It is not just food but also from the contaminated, smoke and pollution, so that you can determine what substance we actually cause the damage. Before people were dying of aging or by accident, but now dying from cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, rare diseases. In Campeche cancer is found even in children. We cannot let this keep happening.

The government should take action and must reduce the amount of processed foods, because it is not only canned or bagged products, but also of farm products produced on the basis of chemical fertilizers and insecticides, chemicals that absorb the fruits and vegetables (Kornblet, pp.3a). In recent times, the seed companies have ensured that farmers do chemical pure culture.
