Introduction

Diana Spencer, also known as Lady D was born on 1st July 1961 and died in a car accident in Paris, on 31st August 1997. Lady Diana was from 1981 to 1996 wife of Charles, Prince of Wales, and heir to the throne the United Kingdom. After her divorce from husband held the title of Princess of Wales, but without the treatment of Royal Highness, but it remained an official member of the royal family, by virtue of the mother of the future King of the realm, and then a royal princess of the Kingdom (Levy & Bonilla, 1999). This paper discusses briefly the incident of the car accident in which Lady Diana lost her life along with the different media surrounding the accident.

On August 31 of 1997, the Princess Diana of Wales, also known as Lady Di died in a car accident that took place inside the Alma Bridge, a bridge located in the city of Paris, France. With her ??partner also died Dodi Al-Fayed and the driver of the car Henri Paul. The only survivor of the terrible accident was the bodyguard of Al-Fayed.

Two years after his tragic death in 1999, a French judge concluded, based on official reports, that the cause of the accident was caused by the driver Henri Paul, who after having consumed alcohol, and antidepressants lost control of car after speeding to evade the paparazzi.
