BLACK America falls short to appreciate that a married man is a larger heritage implication than “my man”, and so is a wife in evaluation to a mother.  While spouses will most probable be present to rendezvous most of their offspring's desires, “my man” may not ever become your married man and a mother may not ever have a dad for her offspring.  Black America is fond of celebrating the achievement of producing it without a married man, regardless of having multiple lovers. The video, Precious, revealed the agony of commemorated broken dwellings over America.  Precious was sexually abused by her mother's beau since the age of 3 and her mother did nothing.  Instead of finding a married man to construct a dwelling with, she resolves for distributing the man with Precious and penalizing her for it.  After all, having a man is more befitting than the blame of a husband.  A man proceeds without coercion, but a married man has rights.  Also, Precious, like her mother, was so starved of masculine desires, that when she was dishonored by any male, it was fondness to her.

According to the Warren Ballentine Radio Show, 70% of Black women are unmarried and 46% would stay unmarried.  Is the self-reliance of women from husbands so sugary or are they being deceived?  Many Black women have not only been dwelling in unmarried dwellings for generations, but numerous gaze ahead to it even as teenagers.  Remember that the major scheme for slavery to do well was to conceive fatherless dwellings and only a wife material attracts husbands (Peter, 2009).

If a large video is judged by its proficiency to stay with you long after you've glimpsed it, then enumerate Precious amidst them. Despite painful and distracting topics of misuse, scarcity, incest and teen pregnancy -- the movie is finally a article of wish regardless of unending adversity.
