Introduction

Poverty and hunger both of these terms are inter-connected. Poverty gives rise to the hunger as hunger is the non-availability of food and nutrition for a child, individual, family or a country. Considering broad terms, a country is said to be lacking of food if its poverty rate is below the poverty line. There are various countries in the world which are a victim of poverty and hunger, in which the developing countries are on top. However, countries like United States are also a victim of poverty and hunger as some of its states like Texas are also influenced by this infective disease. The terms hunger, food prices and poverty are drastically linked together. Poverty is the reason behind hunger, as every hungry person is a poor while every poor person is not hungry. Millions of people in the world live with hunger and die because of its worst effects. These people are unable to provide themselves and their families with proper food and nutrition due to the high rate of poverty and unemployment. Hunger is sometimes called the worst manifestation of poverty. The poverty and hunger has also influenced the State of Texas where a lot of people are victim of this intensive disease. However, arrangements and methods are in process and practice to control and reduce these terms but a better infrastructure is required to overcome these problems rapidly (Anderson, 2007).

The United States coped a lot with these problems and managed a way out to relieve itself a little bit. Many programs and conferences were held in America to reduce the problem of hunger and poverty.
