Introduction

There are certain effects of higher education or post graduation on young graduates. There is recession everywhere in the global market. The job seekers are searching jobs and trying to get into their fields. It is sometimes look impossible to get relevant jobs. To get higher education and get an admirable job and start a best career is the dream of every young adult. This concept is prevailing in every other young graduate, to get moral education in order to achieve their goals. Today, young graduates look disappointed in many cases due to uncertainty of jobs in industries. The employers not only consider the performance every time, they also look for graduate identity. However, graduate identity is not constant every time.

People talk about skills which are transferable but nobody knows the actual meaning. Graduates can bring new ideas and freshness in the industries. These graduates are not giving much importance according to their worth. The identity of graduate has not settled over the last fifteen years. There are reasons for the impacts of unemployment on graduates. The graduates affected by the concept of higher education in all over the world. The other reason may be the universities are not producing the graduates which meet the employer's criteria of giving job. According to research it is clear that employers like those who showed skills in the workplace and do not appreciate much who had shown skills at their universities (Mason et al., 2003). The graduate should use his analytical skills in his academic, and non academic career and this is the way to meet the hiring criteria (Brown and Hasketh, 2004, p.145). Many universities are now working to build self confident and self management in the young graduates, and PDP (Personal Development Planning) is encouraging in students today.

Employers want to see young graduates to perform well at the end of their first year. They are expecting the technical skills from every young graduate at the time of their appointment. In engineering firms and organizations, they do not wait for the graduate engineers to develop technical skills throughout the year, but soft skill like listening and integration should have developed.

According to the survey conducted in Australia, it concludes that young graduates often see disappointed, and they understand that there is a one-one relation in getting qualified and getting employed, and to have a long lasting professional career (Dwyer and Wyn, 2001). Some of the graduates have not good understanding to get more education and employed. They are unaware of the benefits of getting higher education. There are a great number of increases in the students who are getting higher education, especially in England. In the years between 1996 and 2005, number of students in higher education increased by 51%. According to research, it is not necessary to get a good job and higher status after getting higher education (Shavit and Mueller, 1998).
