CHAPTER 01: INTRODUCTION
Outline of the Study
This study is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction. In the first chapter, the background of the study has been presented. This chapter also included aims and objectives of the study. The second chapter is the literature review. In the literature review section, a review of relevant literature has been presented. The third chapter involves the methodology that has been selected for this chapter. The findings of this research will be presented in the fourth chapter. The study will be concluded in the fifth chapter.
Background of the Study
Young people who had a moderately stable interaction were more feasible to be settled post-16. Significant variables that influenced their experience involves the age they entered in care, the reasons that carried them there, and the number and sort of positions they encountered. Care history influenced young people's fitness to uphold noteworthy relationships, their education, and their self-esteem. The young individual's care experience had an effect on their educational accomplishment. In light of their disturbed adolescence, various young individuals were battling with their schoolwork when they joined care. Schooling was assisted through shifts to new places on different occasions. In these situations, young individuals endeavoured since schools has different curricula. Getting behind in their work undermined their educational achievement that also had an impact on their self-confidence.
Professional and casual supports were pivotal in empowering young people to beat the troubles rolling out of their youth encounters and current conditions. The care was necessary in order to make young people engaged in education and employment. Young people profited from assistance in considering different career choices, improving arrangements and searching and utilising opportunities. The professionals were chosen in order to offer this support. The professionals included Life skills mentors and New Deal advisers who were engaged in long term care. In order to get assistance, career advisors were approached. In addition, teachers were also approached to perform this task.

To analyse the theoretical perspective of leaving care
To identify where are individuals who are leaving care
Purpose of the Study
The purpose of this study is to analyse diverse challenges experiences by post-sixteen individuals. When individuals leave care after sixteen, they encounter significant challenges. These challenges involve a lack of support, economic problems, and others. These challenges have a significant impact on the education, training, and career of individuals. In addition, these challenges also influence the self-esteem of individuals. In this study, the challenges encountered by post-sixteen after leaving care will be highlighted.
