After the World War II, and with the end of British colonization in America, there was a new system of political establishment in the United States. On 4th July, 1776, America was declared as an Independent State after the issuance of Declaration of Independence. American colonies were departed from the British monarchy and emerged as the Independent States of America (history.state.gov). After declaration of Independence the most important concern for the State was to choose the new leader for the State. After World War II the conditions all over the world were changing. The world was undergoing great political, social, demographic and economic changes. These changes were occurring at the national and international level. In Europe and the western world Common people were asking for their rights. Blacks were fighting for their freedom and this led to the civil movement. The political situation of America required special attention towards this concern. Different Unions and political parties were emerging. It was the worst situation which requires a leader who can control all these situations of the State. Another important concern was that the threat for the defense and security of the State after World War II was also a serious concern.
The changes in the political and demographic structure of the State were a major concern. In the beginning the Continental Congress was making all the political decisions and important matters regarding the State affairs which include the matter of resolving the problems for the declaration of Independence (www.senate.gov). George Washington was elected in1789, as the first US president. It was the time when only white males can vote, but with increase in civil movements for the rights of Blacks and other minors it became a problem for vote by Blacks and later women also rise for their vote through Women Suffrage moment. All these changes the form and system of the political structure of America and the right to cast vote become allowed for every individual with the age of above 18 years. All these moments and major political changes led to the big changes in the political structure of the America where new political party system evolved(Perrault, & Blazek,2003).
