Executive Summary

Communication is playing a vital role in almost every organization. It is the back bone for every operation in which organization is operating. Communication is basically a sending and receiving of information. In communication, sender sends a message and receiver recives the message and his/her brain interpret the meaning of message. In police, communication act as a back bone for all information. Timely flow of information through communication is very necessary to become effective and efficient. Police is acquiring new technology, in order to react faster to emergency siutations. Technology is really helping police, to help citizens in an efficient way.

Description and Role of Police

The police are a security force in charge of maintaining public order and security of citizens and subject to the orders of political authorities. Your administration can be centralized at the national level or decentralized, with local police forces largely autonomous (Walker, 2008). It is also called police to each agent belonging to that organization . The recruits usually receive specialized training and must be submitted to an entrance examination. Most police forces are quasi-military organizations, whose main duty is to deter and investigate crimes against persons or affect public order and the arrest of suspects, and inform the competent authorities. It is also responsible for reporting minor offenses through citations that often end up paying a deposit, usually for violations of traffic laws. The police may have a preventive character such as the city police or policing that can be investigated, such as that assist the prosecutor or public prosecutor in the prosecution of crimes, or they may be addressed to ensure compliance because, as the "tax police".

At the level of U.S. states, there is often a state police responsible for enforcing the laws of the State.Depending on the size and population of the state, it can have dedicated police services. It may also exist only a few specialized services, the rest of the functions then being assigned to police services to the sheriff or municipal police (Maguire, 2001). There may also be police acting on dedicated areas (state parks, highways). For example, Texas and the Arkansas State Police have, which are respectively: the Texas Ranger Division and the Arkansas State Police .
