Introduction

Play Station brand is a chain of video game consoles shaped and produced by Sony Computer Entertainment. It spans the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th creation of video gaming. PS brand was introduced on 30th December 1994 in Japan. It consisted of a total of three home consoles, a line of controllers, a media center, a phone and two handhelds together with numerous magazines.

In the series of PS the video game console was the 1st console to distribute around 100 million units after 9 years and six months of it first initiate. PlayStation 4 an extended brand of PlayStation is the heir of the PlayStation 3. It is in development stage and it is likely to be released by the end of 2013. It will be in advance version of Microsoft's next generation console. It is code named as “Orbis” and it is expected to feature AMD hardware and will boast a decree of up to 4096x2160. Sony has yet to officially acknowledge the console's existence. There are continuous rumors that it will launch during 2012 Electronic Expo. PlayStation 4 will be the 8th generation's video game console.
