Plastic surgery is a branch of medicine, dealing with the reform of the imperfect or repair defects present in human body. Reconstructive plastic surgery deals with the abnormalities, signs, or scars present due to injury, disease or birth defects. It makes some of the defected features normal, and the person/ defected parts look normal. Cosmetic plastic surgery is usually performed to improve the physical appearance of the body and usually performs on aesthetic level. Harold Delf Gillies was the first doctor, specializing in plastic surgery and was known for the first plastic surgeon. (Santoni - Rugiu, 2007)

The two main types of plastic surgery are the cosmetic plastic surgery and reconstructive plastic surgery.
Cosmetic Surgery
Cosmetic surgery only improves the cosmetic surgery patient characteristics on the purely aesthetic level look. This means that a person only wants to improve his/her looks. He/she has no real anomaly or pain. With the advancement of technology, harmful diseases are lowered. Surgical choices have expanded. Surgeons who perform these operations have increased. There are some cosmetic procedures which are still taking as controversial because many people take cosmetic surgery on negative side as they think any permanent change in the body is a religious and moral issue.
