Planning Project

Introduction

The essay explains the theories related to the planning project in health and social care. It reflects the secondary research facilitated by the explanation of theories underlying the topic. The study type chosen for this research is a qualitative study. The nature of the topic is such that qualitative study best suits the research. Qualitative methods combine a variety of research methods in social sciences, such as in sociology, in ethnology and anthropology, also in marketing. They deliberately leave the issue quantitatively to gain depth in the analysis of the object of study. Various techniques depend on the administration of open questions and exploration of language. Out of which, participatory observations are most important. At this point, researchers discuss the research procedures that are used by qualitative sociologists.

The essay will, systematically explore the literature about the communication issues in health and social care for immigrant population. The communication issues are critical since they involve risk of inappropriate medical consultation and the challenge of explaining the symptoms and cure to the patients. The systematic review for this paper is based on the secondary research using the qualitative data. The stages of research process are derived from the study design as suggested by Creswell (1994). The communication issues are not broadly addressed; however, they require an understanding of the cultural sensitivity and competency. The identification of the literature and qualitative studies will facilitate such findings in this essay.

Qualitative research provides the main tool for valid inferences from the universe surveyed; the procedure is established by the rules of statistics that allow elements of the population known to be an opportunity selected sample. However, there is a reasonable amount of qualitative work using non-probability sampling; here, the choice of elements of the population forming part of the sample is made based on subjective criteria of the researcher, which is not an accurate estimate whether the findings represent the universe. The sample allows the study of large populations at a number relatively smaller (Gravetter, 2011, 31). Exceptions to this trend studies the classified data and address global issues such as social exclusion, citizenship, elections and modernization; based on secondary sources of government agencies. As noted above, the sociological studies tend not to expose the criteria. It is found that in general, qualitative designs (sample size ...
