The project of Keystone XL pipeline is build to carry tar sands. This pipeline is build by the TransCanada Corporation which is in Calgary. This pipeline will help in moving 910,000 barrels of bitumen, undisclosed chemicals and natural gas from a diameter of 36 inches. This will be a high pressure pipe which is buried four feet underground (Robbins, 2011).
