Physical and Emotional Benefits Of Dancing

There is no doubt, ballroom and Latin dancing is changing the way people feel about the activity, too! For those skeptics who do not believe in the strength of the human mind in health and medicine, I have listed the physical proof first. Millions of people each year enjoy the many benefits that these forms of dance provide. From the physical, mental and social standpoints, our favorite recreation is one of the most common forms of low impact / high aerobic training available. This is fun, it can be free, and it is always best done by someone else! Here are some of the many benefits of Ballroom offers:

Physical Benefits

Cardiovascular

Ballroom and Latin dancing (henceforth called B and L) can raise the heart rate ranges from 80 to 120 (more for some of us) beats per minute. This is the equivalent of any strength training or aerobic program I have heard. Sustained 2 minutes in a queue for the 45-minute period will build not only in your heart of strength, endurance, but it too (like Viagra for the heart).

Muscle Tone

B AND L dance when she danced at an intermediate to advanced level of technology uses the perfect combination of isometric and isotonic resistance (the two key ingredients for muscle building and toning). When I stand, I used to, compared to what my natural posture now is thanks to Ballroom, I was looking for at least 3 inches above.
