The Conscience Clause

Conscience clauses for health providers were at first passed in order to respond decision by United States Supreme Court in roe v. Wade case. Roe v. Wade case was the milestone decision which brought upon the maximum number of laws relating to abortion that the breach of legal right of privacy. This decision overturned all laws of state regarding restricting and outlawing abortion (Kathleen, 1995).
