The pharmaceutical industry has grown at a rate accelerated by about 10% per year up to the present the second sector of the economy with more than 300 companies' pharmaceuticals. The sector is heavily dominated by groups local, after covering all domestic, begin to look to export to grow. The Generics account for the bulk of pharmaceuticals manufactured. Bangladesh, LDCs have only one industry pharmaceutical performance, benefit until 2016 the Agreements on Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights and Trade (TRIPS), decided on the occasion of the Doha Conference, which used to produce and market drugs without having to pay fees, including those protected by patents".
Background of the research
The turnover generated by the pharmaceutical industry amounts to some $ 700 million in the third quarter of 2007 against 480 million USD in 2004, an increase of over 40% in three years, according to the report published by the "Association of Bangladesh Pharmaceutical Industries ", the organization that manages the area. The pharmaceutical industry now covers 97% of needs local cons, the country imports only high vaccine technology and innovative formulations of drugs. The market consists of 300 local pharmaceutical companies' registered holding 80% market share against only 20 percent for corporations. The first two groups' Bangladeshi pharmaceuticals are "Square" and "Beximco" and represent, by themselves, a little over a quarter of the total market. About 60 000 employees are employed by the pharmaceutical industry. Only 12 companies produce drugs called "innovative ", the others produce generics. Foreign groups present on the market are: Aventis, Servier, Glaxo Smith Kline, Novartis and Roche (Kte'pi, 2009, pp. 342-46).
Statement of problem
The pharmaceutical and the IT industry flourishing throughout the world. However, the noticeable thing in both these sectors is that the Asian countries putting a lot of hard efforts and these sectors growing at a rapid rate. Therefore, in this research paper the research statement of problem is to discuss the role and relationship between pharmaceutical and the IT industry in Bangladesh.

To analyze the role of Pharmaceutical and IT industry in Bangladesh's economy.
To find out the relationship of IT industry with the Pharmaceutical industry.
